Master Black Belts play a critical role in driving quantifiable improvements throughout their organizations. Candidates for this program are already certified Black Belts who are skilled in change leadership and problem-solving techniques. The Master Black Belt program guides you to the next level with a focus on advanced tools and facilitation skills needed to lead change within your organization.

Pre-requisites

Black Belt trained and certified.

Who Should Attend?

  • Certified Black Belts with a focus on career-building and improving their visibility within their company by leading teams through business process improvement efforts and training and coaching others.
  • Certified Black Belts ready to lead change in their organization.

 

Duration

Varies depending on the completion of 4 advanced training electives.  Sessions are typically only 3.5 hours per day for 3 weeks.

 

Certification

  • Completion of 4 advanced training electives.  All electives are delivered by a seasoned Lean Methods’ MBB.  Students participate in interactive simulations and/or exercises with participants from various industries.  The student should check the agenda under each course to determine the schedule.
  • Proficiency of 90%+ on Black Belt exams.
  • Complete 3 projects, each showing statistical evidence of a primary metric improvement and one of which should be a large-scale project.  Each project report will be assessed against Lean Methods’ Final Report Deliverables.  Coaching can be used in lieu of a large-scale project.
  • Be nominated for MBB status by a 360-degree team.  Three letters of recommendation are required: one from a supervisor, one from a peer, one from someone who has coached or mentored you, and one from someone you have coached or mentored.

Payments for this program are also flexible.  The $14,950 fee includes 4 advanced training electives, which are discounted to only $3,250 each, and a certification and project review fee of $1,950.  Students may pay for the program in one lump sum or be invoiced upon registration for each elective.

As a Master Black Belt candidate, one of the requirements is to complete four advanced training electives from the list below.  You may find the other requirements under the “Details” tab. You may all of the electives from the list below, and complete them when your schedule allows.  A Lean Methods’ MBB may also help you in determining your electives based on your goals and expectations.

Additional certifications received in each course are included in the cost of the Master Black Belt program.

Lean Methods Group reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule courses and to change instructors. We will do our best to ensure you are aware of changes six weeks prior to the course start date. Please be advised that in the event of a course cancellation, Lean Methods Group is not responsible for airfare penalties or other travel-related expenses you may incur.

While we recognize the need to cancel due to unforeseen events, we kindly ask that you consider the other students in this course when cancelling your enrollment.  We ask for six weeks advance notice so that we may fill your spot and ensure a fun class for the other students.

  • Requests for cancellations/transfers received at least six weeks before the start of the course receive a full refund/transfer to another workshop
  • Requests received within four weeks of the course shall receive a 50% refund.
  • After the course starts, there are no refunds or transfers.
  • Registrants who fail to attend without advance notice are liable for the entire course fee.
  • We can transfer your course fees to another Lean Methods e-learning or instructor-led course of your choice.

You must successfully complete the entire course or program before IACET CEUs, PDUs and a Certificate of Completion can be awarded.
