Lean Methods has designed the Fast-Track Green Belt Program to give you the opportunity to certify with the same rigor of the traditional Green Belt Program and with the same high quality content, but at an accelerated rate. Through blended learning, (instructor-led live virtual training and state of the art e-learning), personalized project coaching by a Lean Methods’ Master Black Belt, and an assigned project, we give you more than the usual set of tools to set you up for success.

Following the disciplined Six Sigma DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) road map, this course teaches you how to collect and analyze performance data, identify inefficiencies and problems, pinpoint root causes, and institute new protocols to greatly improve processes. In addition to teaching the complementary methodologies of Lean and Six Sigma, this course also provides skills in leading teams through the process of change.



Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define, design and execute DMAIC projects.
  • Apply such Lean concepts as 5S, waste reduction, mistake proofing and value stream mapping.
  • Formulate basic statistical analyses to determine the relationship between key inputs and process outputs.
  • Apply DMAIC to solve business issues and transition projects from phase to phase.
  • Effectively manage team dynamics and recognize how to work with leadership.
  • Prepare and present project reports and presentations to instructors, peers and management.

  • Anyone in any industry who wants to develop new or refine existing problem solving skills.

Students will attend four hours per day of live instructor-led virtual classroom via the Microsoft Teams platform and blend this learning with Lean Methods’ state of the art online Green Belt course. The course is designed to be accelerated through three weeks of back-to-back virtual classroom training. Students may utilize their personalized project coaching hours as they wish e.g, studying for exams, project work, or a specific chosen topic.

Students should expect to come to the virtual classroom ready to participate in interactive simulations with students from other industry sectors.

Please be advised that in the event of a course cancellation, Lean Methods Group is not responsible for airfare penalties or other travel related expenses you may incur.

  • If you need to cancel, we will refund your paid registration fee, or you may apply toward another workshop. Please see below.
    • Requests for cancellations/transfers received at least 6 weeks before the start of the course receive a full refund/transfer.
    • Requests received within 4 weeks of the course shall receive a 50% refund.
    • After the course starts, there are no refunds or transfers.
    • Registrants who fail to attend without advance notice are liable for the entire course fee.
    • If you cannot find a substitute, we can transfer your course fees to another Lean Methods e-learning or instructor-led course of your choice.
  • You must successfully complete the entire course or program before IACET CEUs, PDUs and a Certificate of Completion can be awarded.
